Battery Pack Seals

Material: EPDM
For the tests mentioned in the technical requirements, the samples shall be directly taken from the parts for testing. If the part shape cannot be sampled, the same material as the part shall be used for testing. The sealing effect of the finished parts shall meet the requirements of IP67 wading test.
1. Dimensions and tolerances: The cross-sectional shape, dimensions and tolerances, and product length and tolerances shall meet the requirements of the design drawings.
2. The appearance quality of the sealing strip shall comply with the following regulations:
1) No defects that affect the performance and appearance of the product are allowed: such as impurities, bubbles, cracks, scratches, tears, glue shortages, broken skin, twisted deformation or flattened deformation, etc.;
2) The surface treatment (including surface coating treatment, lamination treatment and planting treatment, etc.) should be uniform in texture, clean on the surface, free of dirt, and no defects such as falling off, color spots, and bumps are allowed;
3) The break difference of the product joint part should meet the requirements of round paper, and the molding should be uniform and the surface should be smooth; the color and pattern should be set according to customer requirements, and no defects such as color shift and pollution should occur;
4) Before the sealing strip test, the test sample must be placed at least 24 hours in the standard atmosphere of 23℃ and 50% relative humidity specified in IS0291.
3. Hardness: Hardness value of the delivery state (23±2℃): 50±5ShoreA hardness change value after (100℃/96h completion, TS0188) is within 05Shore The hardness change value after A-range aging (100℃/5046 after light, IS0188) is 05Shore. The hardness in A-range is measured according to "IS07619-1".
4. Tensile strength: tensile strength in delivery state (23+2℃):>9MPa after heat aging (100℃/96h after completion. IS0188):>9MPa after heat aging (100℃/504h after completion, 1S0188):>9WP tensile strength is measured according to "IS037 Determination of tensile stress-strain characteristics of chemical rubber or thermoplastic rubber".
5. Elongation at break As-supplied state (2+2℃) Elongation at break: >250% After heat aging (100℃/96h, IS0188): >250% Elongation at break after heat aging (100℃/96h, IS0188): >250% Elongation at break is determined according to "IS037 Determination of tensile stress-strain properties of rubber or thermoplastic rubber"
6. Crack strength As-supplied state (23+2℃) Fracture strength: >10KN/m Fracture strength is determined according to "IS034-1".
7. Compression permanent deformation
According to CSMTCS400239
Test method B of "Test method for compression permanent deformation of elastomer parts", the sample uses the standard recommended size, compressed by 50%, heated at 100℃ for 22 hours, and the compression permanent deformation is less than or equal to 65% of the test compression.
8: Low temperature performance
According to Chapter 4.4 of "SMTCS320040", the sample is directly bent 180 degrees after being stored at -40℃ for 22 hours, and there is no crack on the surface.
9. Ozone aging resistance
According to the provisions of the machine "SMTC3261004 Ozone resistance test specification for elastomer materials", at an oxygen concentration of 2p, a test temperature of 23+2℃, and a relative air humidity of 60%, there is no crack after debugging for 46 hours
10. Brittle temperature: brittle temperature <-40℃
