Description

160mm Hitachi Elevator Guide Rollers

160mm Hitachi Elevator Guide Rollers: High-Quality Mobility Solutions for Vertical Transportation

160mm Hitachi Elevator Guide Rollers are essential components in ensuring smooth and reliable operation in elevator systems, particularly for Hitachi-branded elevators. Designed for both performance and durability, these guide rollers are engineered to handle the rigorous demands of vertical transportation, contributing to elevator stability, noise reduction, and longevity.

Key Features of 160mm Hitachi Elevator Guide Rollers

  1. Dimensions and Specifications:
    • The 160mm refers to the diameter of the guide roller, which is a standard size used in many elevator applications. The roller's size ensures smooth operation and precise alignment of the elevator carriage within its shaft.
    • Width and Design: Typically, the rollers will have a width and construction designed to fit precisely into the track, ensuring optimal contact and reduced friction as the elevator moves up and down the shaft.
  2. Material Composition:
    • High-Quality Rubber or Polyurethane: These rollers are generally made from high-performance rubber or a combination of rubber and polyurethane compounds. These materials provide excellent wear resistance, shock absorption, and noise reduction—key features in elevator systems where quiet and smooth performance is required.
    • Metal Core: Inside the rubber or polyurethane material, the roller will have a metal core (usually steel or aluminum), adding strength and rigidity to the design. This ensures that the roller can withstand heavy loads while maintaining its shape over time.
  3. Load Capacity and Performance:
    • Heavy Load Bearing: 160mm guide rollers are designed to support the weight of the elevator car, counterweights, and other components. They are engineered to handle high static and dynamic loads with minimal wear, ensuring smooth, safe, and quiet movement even in large buildings with heavy traffic.
    • Reduced Friction: The roller design minimizes friction between the elevator carriage and the guide rail, preventing wear and tear on the track and ensuring the elevator operates efficiently.
  4. Design and Functionality:
    • Guide Roller Function: Guide rollers are critical in ensuring the elevator car stays aligned within the elevator shaft. They help to guide the car along the rails, preventing it from swaying or deviating from its intended path.
    • Silent Operation: The rubber or polyurethane outer material helps in dampening vibrations, reducing noise, and contributing to a quieter ride inside the elevator. This is especially important in residential and office buildings where noise reduction is a priority.
    • Durability: Hitachi elevator guide rollers are designed for long-term performance. The high-quality materials ensure that the rollers can withstand the wear and tear associated with frequent use, providing many years of reliable service.
  5. Applications:
    • Elevator Systems: The primary application for the 160mm Hitachi elevator guide rollers is in elevator guide rails, where they provide smooth and stable movement for the elevator car. These rollers ensure that the elevator car remains properly aligned with the guide rail, preventing any swaying or bouncing that could result in unsafe or uncomfortable rides.
    • Vertical Transportation in High-Rise Buildings: In buildings with multiple floors and high elevator traffic, the 160mm Hitachi elevator guide rollers are critical for maintaining smooth and efficient elevator operations.
    • Commercial and Residential Elevators: These guide rollers are used in both commercial and residential elevators, ensuring that passengers experience minimal noise and maximum comfort during their ride.
  6. Advantages:
    • Smooth Operation: The 160mm guide rollers provide superior smoothness during elevator movement by ensuring precise alignment with the guide rails.
    • Noise Reduction: Thanks to the combination of rubber or polyurethane material, these rollers minimize noise and vibrations, contributing to a quiet and comfortable ride for passengers.
    • Long-Lasting: With robust construction and high-quality materials, these rollers are designed to last, reducing the need for frequent maintenance or replacement.
    • Maintenance-Free: These rollers require minimal maintenance, contributing to reduced operational costs and ensuring that elevator systems function without disruption.
  7. Customization:
    • Material Options: Depending on the specific needs of the elevator system, these guide rollers can be customized with different rubber compounds or urethane formulations to meet specific requirements, such as higher load capacities or superior wear resistance.
    • Precision Manufacturing: Hitachi offers a variety of custom sizes and configurations to meet the unique specifications of different elevator models. Customization ensures that the rollers fit perfectly with the elevator guide rails, providing enhanced efficiency.

Additional information

160mm elevator guide rolls

1. Unmarked size tolerances are in accordance with GB/T 1804-m.
2. Press C0.5 for unfilled chamfering. Press R1 for unfilled corners.
3. Rubber hardness: Shore A 74° ±5.
(1) The measurement position of the rubber hardness is 4 points on the outer circumferential surface (rail contact surface), which should be measured after the outer circle is finally processed and formed.
(2) The above-mentioned test quantity is 2 for each batch, even if 1 fails, all of them must be inspected.
4. Rubber bonding strength should be above 58.8N/cm.
(1) After bonding, it works normally under the conditions of pushing force 1.47KN, speed 1m/s, and running time 10h.
(2) The above test quantity is 2 per batch.
5. There should be no air bubbles, cracks, foreign matter incorporation and other harmful defects.
(1) Appearance inspection is to visually inspect the surface and interior of the rubber to see if there are cracks, air bubbles, foreign matter mixed in, etc.
(2) The above-mentioned test quantity is 2 per batch, even if one fails, all of them must be re-inspected.
6. After the outer circle is finally processed and formed, the end jump of the roller, the width of the roller and the outer diameter should be measured.
(1) The end jump should be measured at the outermost diameter, and it is required to be below 0.06.
(2) The number of measurements above is 5 for each batch. Even if one fails, all of them must be tested again.
7. The recovery rate of rubber is over 97%.
(1) Use a sample of D29 and a thickness of 12.7, load it at 490N for 6 hours at room temperature, then remove the load, and measure the recovery rate after 30 seconds.
8. After machining the hub of sequence 2, the rubber of sequence 1 should be bonded by pressure forming.
9. Do not clamp the rubber part during processing.
10. The rubber material is NR (natural rubber).
